The Rational Quality management tools help our Clients manage a role-based business-driven environment for test planning, workflow control and metrics reporting.
Overview:
You will be responsible for providing 2nd line support to our clients and end users supporting the IBM Rational Software Quality Management products. Exceptional client service skills and the ability to work with people in a technical environment are a must. Individuals should enjoy troubleshooting and recreating client environments. You’ll be working and escalating technical problems to development for resolution while providing effective and timely communication/updates to our clients. Candidate will also be responsible for utilizing call/defect tracking tools and prioritizing their open issues. The ideal candidate will need to possess strong written/verbal communication skills. You will also be expected to add/create/modify content to our product knowledge database.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, and ready to collaborate with team members.

Mandatory skill set & Experience
Test Engineers / Technical Support Engineer with 3+years of exp in S/W Testing/QA in a product development environment, Very good at troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills, Rich experience in functional, regression testing, system testing using Rational Functional Testing / Rational Performance Testing/ Rational Quality Manager. Knowledge and good experience in Windows and Unix platform. The job requires candidate to work with multiple products for supported integrations. Very quick in learning new products and technology.
- Bachelers degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or above
- Good Knowledge of Rational Functional Tester (or) Rational Performance Tester(or) Rational Quality Manager
- Experience working in support environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent client handling skills
- Understanding of Software Testing Lifecycle, Methodologies.
