Avionics -Software ENGINEERS (Job Code: IEL/BLR/Avionics/SWE - Design)
Job Location: Bangalore
Experience: 3 – 8 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech/Msc. in Electronics/Instrumentation/Electrical/ Computer Science or equivalent.
Job Description:
• Design and develop software modules for avionics applications.
• Be responsible for software integration testing at customer site.
• Be ready to travel to on-site at client site on short notice.
Basic Skill Set:
• Knowledge in embedded systems.
• Proficiency in 'C' programming
• Knowledge in Object Oriented Design.
• Exposure to SDLC
• Good understanding of real-time operating systems
• Should possess strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities
• Good Communication skills
• Good Team player
Desired Skill Set:
• Experience in Development of safety critical software for aircraft systems & airborne controllers as per DO-178B guidelines
• Hands on Experience in working with protocols such as CAN, AFDX, ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, RS232, RS422 etc
• Knowledge on DOORS, CLEARCASE, CLEARQUEST tools
• Knowledge on Model based tools such as Matlab, SCADE, ARTISAN
• Knowledge on Software Requirement Analysis

• Debugging experience using IDEs, Debuggers, Emulators, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.

Details Job Description
Perform SWI test of embedded software in accordance to DO178B Level A &B
Preparation test documentation
Review of test cases and procedures
Technical support to other team members, if required
Basic Skill Set
Knowledge in testing on tools like LDRA, RT-RT.
Testing experience on DO 178B Level-A based software.
Proficiency in 'C' programming.
Should possess strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities.
Desired Skill Set
Hands-on testing experience using tools such as LDRA, RTRT
Testing of software modules for embedded avionics applications.
