Duties & Responsibilities :• Analyze user requirements, perform cost analysis, and identify designs/approaches to ensure the customer"s needs are met.
• Submit network connectivity specifications and offer recommendations.
• Provide technical leadership for customers projects, which may include equipment ordering, testing, troubleshooting, installation, and implementation of upgrades or configurations.
• Communicate network status and provide quality documentation.
• Establish/maintain a project schedule in coordination with the client and management.
• Attend daily/weekly meetings and interact regularly with management, customers and incumbents to constantly improve Network Engineering services.
• Support Disaster Recovery testing and enforce required standards and procedures.
• The candidates should be willing to work in shift.
• Requires advanced knowledge and experience in a full range of technology platforms and systems.
Specific Requirements :
• 5 yeas to 10+ years hands-on experience in large enterprise or carrier networks with routers, switches and firewalls.
• Experience in Carrier network or ISP
• Experience with LAN/WAN VoIP configurations including QOS configurations.
• Routing experience with a least 2 of the following protocols: OSPF/EIGRP/BGP.
• WAN experience with at least 2 of the following: frame relay, leased lines and MPLS.
• LAN switching experience with Nortel/Brocade/Cisco products VLANs, VTP, Trunking, VRRP,MLT and SMLT etc....
• VPN experience preferably with Cisco/Nortel products.
• Advanced Expert level networking certifications such as CCIE R&S or SP mandatory.
• Firewall experience with the ASA and PIX are desirable.
• MicroSoft Office and Visio skills are required.
